Creativity dwells in every child.
Meet Caleb, a JSS2 student of Community Secondary Commercial Schhol, Ibiaku Itam. I stepped out of my house this afternoon and I met him carry this architectural work down the street. I called him to take a closer look and it was awesome. In his work, I noticed the vehicle was parked in the varendah instead of the garage which laid empty and I inquired from him why it was so, ” I had to work on the car parking area so I had to move the car to the varendah for the mean time” he responded 😂😂.
Nigeria is Blessed, but we barely see it. The difference between the kids abroad who are excelling in STEM education, and ours, is because the people there appreciate them early and help them discover their talents. But here, we brand them witches and wizards instead.
Children are our hope for tomorrow and we have to treat them right. Don’t forget to #GiveAChildABook , their self discovery dwells in there.
