Actress Yetunde Akilapa, renowned serial thief who has been in the business for up to 2 years and has refused to take a break. Yetunde has mastered the act of stealing with master keys. She was arrested for robbery again in just less than five months after being locked up for stealing in Lagos, her area of concentration.
Yetunde, met another water-loom today as she was nabbed, at Ajao estate, off Oluwalogbon, Ketu, Lagos State, while trying to gain access into a house, with her set of master keys. She was immediately moved to the police station in the area, to prevent jungle justice like the one that happened in Aba.
Previous records of Yetunde theft case
The case of Yetunde dates back in July, 2018 when the 32-year-old actress was dragged before an Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court and charged with burglary and stealing valuables worth N7 million from one Mr Adeboye Lamidi.
We can’t ascertain how she slipped off off the firm grips of the law. But this is why people still carry out jungle justice on the likes of Yetunde. If not for anything, she wouldn’t come back again.
Police Prosecutor, Benson Emuerhi told the court that Yetunde committed the offences on June 27 at Mutairu Street, Shangisha, Ketu, at 2.10 p.m.
According to Benson, Yetunde was caught trying to enter the apartment of Adeboye Lamidi. Benson also alleged that Yetunde, on Nov. 16, 2015 at 3.00 p.m. broke into the residence of one Oyinlola Tuga by unlocking the doors with her “master key”. Oyinlola Tuga, lives at Ayodele Okeowo St., Gbagada Soluyi in Lagos. He reported that Yetunde stole jewellery, bags and other valuables worth N7 million.
Yetunde Akilapa was also arrested for robbery by the Nigerian Police in Alade, Somolu, Lagos in February 2013. She was delivered to Kirikiri Prison and after a few months but she regained her freedom in November 2013.
But that didn’t stop her taste for the gold.
In Jan. 12, 2014, Yetunde was again caught trying to steal with a bunch of master keys which she hid in her brassiere at a house in Magodo Phase 2.
Woman arrested for scamming church in Ogun state of N100m
A 39-year old woman, Iwuagwu Onyinyechi, has been apprehended by the Ogun police command after she defrauded a Christian church the sum of N100m, under the disguise of assisting the church to raise fund for her charity programme. Onyinyechi was able to defraud the church with forged documents three good times.
The police command in a statement read by its spokesman on Sunday Abimbola Oyeyemi, said Onyinyechi’s arrest followed a complain filed by a lawyer of the church, Godswill Ojakovo, to the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, in which he said that his client, the church, was defrauded by Onyinyechi through an act of forgery.
According to the spokesman, Oyeyemi, the suspect claimed to have obtained a Local Purchase Order (LPO) from a property company and pleaded to the church to help fund the LPO, after which a sum of N33.118m was successfully transferred into to her bank account.
While the church was awaiting the repayment of the loan, Onyinyechi came with another two LPOs she claimed she got from a Catholic Hospital, Iju and a private school in Ikorodu, Lagos State. Another sum of N77m was given to her, after convincing the church with relevant documents and proofs to back her claims.
But as soon as Onyinyechi got the last payment in September 2018, she went loose and this prompted the church to make discreet inquiries about the LPOs she submitted and found out that they were forged.

Even when I was seven months pregnant, he still wanted to have anal sex with me. I stood my ground, nonetheless,”- the victim told Tanzania’s Mwananchi Newspaper .
The lady revealed that her husband was rejected by two women because he asked them of the same act. The accused, denied his wife’s claims, saying the fight between them broke out after his in-laws (wife relatives) demanded a lot of money as dowry from him.
According to him, his wife’s family mocks him for being “broke”.
