Lauretta Onochie a mother and a media aide to President Buhari is still in the business of spreading fake news. She was caught falsely accusing Atiku of handing out rice and N500 to Nigerians in Sokoto during his campaign.
PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar welcomed a massive turnout by Nigerians during his campaign in Sokoto. His opposition claimed he hired non-Nigerians to show support to him. Both the campaign and the false claim is not worth the news in The 1960Post, hence we didn’t report it.
We could let this slide but she was adamant about it.
Lauretta the fake news purveying media aide took to social to defame atiku and his campaign. She posted a picture of food sealed in foil with N500 strapped to it, claiming Atiku bribed Nigerians with it. Meanwhile the picture was taken when an actress, Ruth Eze celebrated her valentine way back in 2017.
Lauretta Onochie wrote in series of tweet.
“KEEP THEM IN POVERTY, THEN GIVE THEM HANDOUTS- ATIKU in Sokoto yesterday.”
“He loots billions
Buys the PDP candidacy in Billions.
So he can continue to insult Nigerians. #NextLevelWithBuhari”
She however wasn’t and accused PDP of buying off The Punch newspaper who first published of her fake news.
Concerning that she wrote.
“While they were insulting Nigerians with 500 Naira strapped to food, our VP showed respect to voters by embarking on a door to door campaign. See the difference. They can hire Punch news mercenaries, it won’t change the facts. God bless Nigeria. Lauretta Onochie @Laurestar”
This is not the first time Lauretta is blantantly spreading fake news to the detriment of uninformed Nigerians who will believe her craft.
She posted a picture of a perfectly constructed road somewhere not in Nigeria, claiming that President Buhari has completed Nasarawa – Jos road.
She was caught, accused and judged by the internet which led her to confess and come up with an apology. But she is very bad at keeping to promises. In her apology she wrote,
“It won’t happen again”.
If the media aide to a president can lie to the public, how much more the president. Incompetence have been attributed to APC led administration as well as ccorruption. Nigerians were promised transparency and justice in 2015, meanwhile they’ve experienced the total opposite

Chinese father sells his baby daughter to pay off gambling debts
A Chinese father has been arrested for selling his 1-year-old daughter for £6,800 to pay off his gambling debts.
Jiang, sold the one-year-old to a couple after owing more than 60,000 Yuan (£6,798), according to reports in China.
Jiang told his wife that he was taking their daughter to stay with his mother. He flew the child more than 1,150 miles away from their home in Guiyang, Guizhou province, last November.
Wang, his wife grew concerned after his failure to return three months later but repeatedly postponed their return.
In February, 2019, she checked her husband’s phone and found shocking conversations between her husband and her daughter’s buyers.
Wang went to her husband’s mother in Zunyi city, about 87 miles away, who informed her that her son and granddaughter left her weeks ago.
She immediately contacted police and they tracked Jiang down to a hotel in Guiyang last month.
When he was caught, Jiang admitted to owing a huge gambling debt and decided to take the drastic measure after seeing online adverts for child adoption.
How Jiang Planned on Selling his daughter
Jiang lied to the buyers – a couple in Zhoushan, Zhejiang province – that he was a single father who could no longer afford to care for the girl. He went further to claim that his own parents were dead so he had nowhere else to turn.
Fortunately, the child was located by the police last Friday and reunited with her mum.
Jiang has been arrested and charged with suspicion of human trafficking, according to the police.
