Head of Media and communication at LSE Africa Summit, Gimba Kakanda has condemned the arrest of Deji Adeyanju by the Nigeria police over a protest led by Deji.

He said he is not in support of the Deji’s style of politics but expressed disgust at Deji’s arrest on twitter. Additionally, Nigerians who led protests and said confrontational words like Deji walked free during Goodluck Ebele Jonathan’s administration.

“If you take the names of those hailing Deji Adeyanju’s arrest and search for their views on former President Jonathan, you’ll be shocked by the result. They all walked free for doing worse than Deji. I don’t approve of Deji’s politics but setting the Police on him is an overkill!”

However, Deji is still held at Keffi Prison since Wednesday when he was arrested. Deji was kept in prison when he failed to meet the bail terms which were, a level-14 civil servant, a businessman with N20 million bond. His case at a chief magistrate court was presided by Aliyu Kagargo.

The lady who finally got married didn’t let the Yahoo Boy slip away. She carried out a private investigation to track down the fraudster. The lady tracked down the Yahoo boy to his residence where he stayed with his apprentices.

The scammers tried to elude capture as they saw Criminal Investigation Department personnel around their house but sadly they were caught up and paraded. Attah agreed to pay up the amount defrauded starting with selling a 10,000 euros car parked in his compound.

A Nigerian man has cried out after an Indian man allegedly scammed him by selling fake Samsung Galaxy S9 to him for N100,000.
The fraud victim on his Instagram page revealed that the Indian told him that he was stranded in Nigeria and he needed some money to go back to India.

The victim didn’t realize the phone was fake until after he has paid the price in full.

Read what the victim wrote,

“I got the shock of my life today, I wanted to change phone so I contacted a guy that assured me that he will get me a very good one. I was driving when I received a call from the guy, that someone wants to sell his phone, that I should hurry down.

I got there, he introduced me to one Indian guy, that the Indian guy wants to sell his phone, what I saw was a galaxy s9 plus, I asked him how much, he said 250k, that he needed money to travel back to India because he was stranded.

I inspected the phone, not an extensive check though, I offered to pay 100k, he agreed, I immediately headed straight to the bank and withdrew 100k and handed it over to him.

I only realized that it was a fake phone he sold to me, when I noticed that it’s front camera was sealed with plastic after taking a very close look, To make things worse, that money wasn’t mine, I had the intentions of buying then resell at a higher price.
