The Nigerian custom service according to reports has confiscated 100 bags of rice which were believed to be fake. The fake rice were seized and held in their office in Lagos. The Fake rice is an exact clone of the original but has a fishy smell which differentiates it from the original, according to a reporter on site.
The spokesman of the Nigerian custom service says that Nigerian should be aware of the rice which they consume.

Nigerian Custom Office Allegedly Let Rice Smugglers go Scott-free
A twitter user simply identified as Hassan has shared his experience with Nigerian Custom officers on December 2nd, whom he claimed let rice smugglers carry on their trade. Hassan stated that he refused to bribe the officers. He further stated that they preferred rice smugglers than “Genuine Custom Duty”.
