To Nigerians the debate has been long expected. It will be a clash of horns between those who will take on the baton for the next four years. The incumbent president of Nigeria, president Buhari will finally debate. Femi Adeinsa, Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity when asked 8 months ago if President Buhari will debate, in  his words, he said,

“That should be left for the president to decide. I think it is too early for us to debate on whether the president will go for a debate or not. All that is important now is, the president has declared and Nigerians are happy.”
