Man kills woman, guns down her 11-year-old daughter as she flees

Police say a Florida man is blamed for executing a mother and her 11-year-old little girl. He gunned down the young lady as she fled her home, reports CBS associate WPEC.
Marlin Larice Joseph is confronting two checks of first degree planned murder for the killings of 36-year-old Kaladaa Crowell and 11-year-old Kyra Inglett.

U.S. Marshals captured the 26-year-old Tuesday, seven days after the Dec. 28 murders.

Police wrote in a report that Joseph, who lived in the home with Crowell and her little girl, shot Crowell once. Before Crowell passed on, she figured out how to reveal to Joseph’s sibling to call 911, police said.

Witnesses told police that Joseph, in the wake of shooting Crowell, rushed out the entryway while shooting at an escaping Kyra. Police said she seemed to endure shot injuries to her head and arm. She kicked the bucket around two hours after the fact at an adjacent clinic.

After supposedly shooting Kyra, police said Joseph broke free of one of his siblings who endeavored to stop him, and backpedaled into the home and discharged no less than two more shots. Police said Crowell and Joseph had been contending that day about what he thought to be Kyra’s terrible state of mind.

Joseph showed up in court Wednesday morning, when a judge denied him bond.
