Who is Ebuka?



Chukwuebuka Obi-Uchendu popularly known as Ebuka was born on 14th July 1982 to the family of  Father banker and nurse. He is the third of a family which hails from Okija in Anambra State.

Ebuka passed through the Nigerian education system studying Law at the university in Abuja, 2004. He furthered his law ambition in 2005 at the Nigerian law School also in Abuja. Foreign education has always been an edge in Nigeria as Ebuka had his masters of Laws degree at Washington college of education of the American university specializing in intellectual Property and Communication law.

How did Ebuka get into the spotlight ?

It might interest you to know that Ebuka the man that stole the show at BankyW’s wedding with his Agbada which is rumored to have been tailored by Yomi Causal, came into the spotlight when he was one of the 14 house mates in Big Brother Nigeria as the year 2006, he came out 8th in position.
But that was not the main push. Ebuka Obi-Uchendu was announced the host of BBN during the comeback on 2017, this made him popular as he is currently has more than 250,000 Instagram and Twitter followers each. Ebuka after the reality TV show in 2006 hosted a reality show Friend and Foe after endorsement deal with Major telecom companies and brewery company.

The well endowed TV Host, MC, Writer and Lawyer who makes the ladies Awww is married to Lucky Cynthia Obianodo a HR manager whom he wedded on February 2, 2016 in Abuja.

As for Cynthia Obianodo Ebuka’s wife

She’s the daughter of the chairman of  The Young Shall Grow Motors – Chief Vincent Obianodo. She went to Corona secondary school from 2001-2007). She studied Human resource management at the University of Hertfordshire (2008-2011)and works at Rocks as their Human resource manager since October 2011-till date.

Obi-Uchendu was nominated in the On-Air Personality category of The Future Awards in 2007 and 2008 consecutively. Won the Outstanding TV Presenter of the Year (Male) at the Nigerian Broadcaster’s Merit Awards in 2013, 2014 and 2015. While in 2011, he was selected as a member of the Global Shaper – an exclusive group of young emerging leaders across the world with the World Economic Forum.

In 2013, Ebuka was honored by the Federal Government as one of the Best 100 Young Nigerians in one of the events to mark Nigeria’s 100th anniversary as a union.
