24-year-old Lucky impersonating Mike Adenuga on Facebook arrested

24-year-old Ehioboh Lucky has been arrested by the Ogun state police for impersonating Mike Adenuga on Facebook and defrauding one Abimbola of huge sum up to one million naira.

The suspect took to Facebook to open a fake account with Mike Adenuga’s name so he could prey on ignorant Nigerians. Lucy met his water loom after one of victim whom he promised a Job at NNPC reported him too the police station.
Abimbola Oyeyemi got in contact with Lucky who is impersonating Mike Adenuga and was promised a job opportunity at NNPC for a charge of N1,028,770. According to Lucky he said,
”One of his victims, Abiola Olalekan Ogunseye came in contact with him on Facebook where he promised to get employment for him at Nigeria National Petroleum Company (NNPC)”
Lucky also convinced the victim that after the total money has been transferred, he would use his office influence to land him a job at NNPC.
Hmm, story for the gods.
After an endless waiting for the appointment letter which did not come, Abimbola got to his senses and realised that he has been played, duped and defrauded. He hurriedly went to the Commissioner of Police and Officer in charge of Anti Kidnapping and Cultism in the name, Opeyemi Kujoore, to lodge a complaint. After a detailed investigation and policing, Lucky the impersonator was arrested by the police on November 6th.
See the problem with Nigeria youths is not lack of Job opportunity, but lack of foresight. Abimbola would have made a good living if he had invested the sum into a lucrative business. Luckily for him, Lucky was caught and would be charged to court soon.
A word of advice, Mike  Adenuga is not the only person being impersonated by this hoodlums, many other high ranking citizens such as Aisha Buahri are being impersonated to defraud unsuspecting victim – Beware.

Jiang, sold the one-year-old to a couple after owing more than 60,000 Yuan (£6,798), according to reports in China.

Jiang told his wife that he was taking their daughter to stay with his mother. He flew the child more than 1,150 miles away from their home in Guiyang, Guizhou province, last November.

Wang, his wife grew concerned after his failure to return three months later but repeatedly postponed their return.

In February, 2019, she checked her husband’s phone and found shocking conversations between her husband and her daughter’s buyers.

Wang went to her husband’s mother in Zunyi city, about 87 miles away, who informed her that her son and granddaughter left her weeks ago.

She immediately contacted police and they tracked Jiang down to a hotel in Guiyang last month.

When he was caught, Jiang admitted to owing a huge gambling debt and decided to take the drastic measure after seeing online adverts for child adoption.
