Mom helps random drunk man to bed thinking he was her son after Halloween

A mum woke in the middle of the night and found that someone had stumbled into the house and fallen asleep just on her dressing room floor so she decided help him to bed only for her to wake the following morning to realize it was not her son.

The mom, Juliet Jarvis, 49, found a man, Marc Campfield, 29, under a duvet cover on her dressing room sleeping on floor at 4.30 a.m. on Sunday morning. He was completely naked under the duvet so she gave him a pillow thinking its her son and he said: “thank you”. She then returned to bed but was surprised by the fact the man thanked her and she thought to herself: “hmm, Stewart sounds very polite.”

The following morning, Her husband, Cliff, came downstairs and what he told her chilled her to her inner bones.

He said calmly: “There’s a naked bloke upstairs and it is not Stewart.”

It was at that point that Juliet Jarvis realized that she had a helped a man who looked like her son and even got him to bed.

Juliet took to Facebook to share the story .She said a naked stranger, Marc Campfield, 29, looked like her son judging by his build so it was easy to make the mistake, although there were some things she considered strange at the time she found him drunk but she didn’t think much of it. The stranger also had half his face painted for Halloween so she couldn’t tell who.

In a Facebook post, Juliet wrote: “Thought it was odd that Stew’s car wasn’t outside and a bit strange that he would come round in the early hours for a kip in my walk-in.”
“I thought his hand looked mucky, but figured it could be that his car broke, and just thought ah well, Stewart does funny stuff, he can explain what he is up to in the morning. So off I went back to bed.”
“In the morning it turned out it was a guy called Marc, with a half painted face who had left his clothes in the conservatory covered in mud, with his muddy phone. I wonder if he was walking home and threw himself over the fence at the back? Or did he pick up all that mud in the woods? We live in the middle of nowhere.”

After Marc Campfield, got dressed, Juliet’s husband, Cliff later kidly dropped him off at his home a few miles away from their house. Now Juliet says she has got herself a new son. Juliet further revealed that she was very impressed by Marc’s manners despite he was drunk, saying he was “obviously housetrained” as “he knew not to walk mud through” and had kept his shoes where it should be, in the conservatory.

Meanwhile, car dealer, Marc Campfield, says he has no idea how he got to the couple’s house in Kingsley Common, four miles from where he lives in Bordon as was thrown out of a nightclub in Farnham, Surrey, for falling asleep and he somehow found his way to Juliet’s home, staggered into the house, stripped off his mud-caked clothes and crashed out under a duvet.

Juliet’s story
Juliet said: “I went in to see a head poking out from a duvet. He said, ‘I just need to sleep’. I told him I would get him a pillow, slipped it under his head and made sure he was warm and OK. His hands were filthy but just thought, ‘Oh well, Stewart does funny things’. He said ‘thank you’ and I thought, ‘Hmmmm, Stewart sounds very polite’.”

The next morning, a still-drunk Marc poked his head out of the door and was greeted by juliet’s husband, Cliff. Unsure how he found himself there or what to do to get himself out of the situation, he tried lying to the family that he knows their son.

Marc said: “I tried to bluff that I knew their son. The lady took a picture of me to send to him — I knew then I had been rumbled. I could not have stumbled into the home of two more lovely people. They were so understanding.”

After giving him a T-shirt he came downstairs and Juliet then asked him if he drank the night before. He said, ‘I think so’, and they all started laughing.

When Stewart was told the story he was disappointed in his mom that his mom could not identify him.
Jokingly Stewart said: “I’m going to have some serious words with my mother — she still can’t recognise me after all these years.”
