Things are getting pretty difficult for IPOB members in the south eastern part of Nigeria, as Nigerian Air force has joined the country’s Army in the Operation Python dance. In a statement released to the press, Jet fighter troops has already been deployed to cover the Army in the south east region.
The NAF spokesperson, Olatokunbo Adesanya said, “The essence of the deployment is to provide the necessary air cover to the ground troops to enhance overall operational cohesion and efficiency,”
“The request by the Nigerian Army for close air support made the involvement of the NAF inevitable,”

The reason for the deployment of military troops to the south-eastern region of Nigeria, is to stop the ongoing Biafran agitation in which may say it is quite oppressive for th peaceful protest
Air commodore Olatokunbo Adesanya  who is the Director of Public Relations and Information added that
“In line with its commitment to national peace and security, the air force has deployed some of its air assets, including the Alpha Jet aircraft, to its 115 Special Operations Group in Port Harcourt, to support the ongoing Nigerian Army’s Exercise Egwu Eke II.”

“The essence of the deployment is to provide the necessary air cover for the ground troops to enhance overall operational cohesion and efficiency. The wide expanse of the exercise area and the request by the Nigerian Army for close air support made the involvement of the NAF inevitable.”

“The deployment of the air assets in support of the Nigerian Army is thus in fulfillment of one of the constitutional mandates of the NAF.”

The deployment of heavy troops could spark a war in the region cause the IPOB members seems not to be ceasing, the Spokesperson for the IPOB Emma powerful said in a statement.

A 39-year old woman, Iwuagwu Onyinyechi, has been apprehended by the Ogun police command after she defrauded a Christian church the sum of N100m, under the disguise of assisting the church to raise fund for her charity programme. Onyinyechi was able to defraud the church with forged documents three good times.

The police command in a statement read by its spokesman on Sunday Abimbola Oyeyemi, said Onyinyechi’s arrest followed a complain filed by a lawyer of the church, Godswill Ojakovo, to the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, in which he said that his client, the church, was defrauded by Onyinyechi through an act of forgery.

According to the spokesman, Oyeyemi, the suspect claimed to have obtained a Local Purchase Order (LPO) from a property company and pleaded to the church to help fund the LPO, after which a sum of N33.118m was successfully transferred into to her bank account.

While the church was awaiting the repayment of the loan, Onyinyechi came with another two LPOs she claimed she got from a Catholic Hospital, Iju and a private school in Ikorodu, Lagos State. Another sum of N77m was given to her, after convincing the church with relevant documents and proofs to back her claims.

But as soon as Onyinyechi got the last payment in September 2018, she went loose and this prompted the church to make discreet inquiries about the LPOs she submitted and found out that they were forged.
