Nnamdi Kanu Finally Meets Bail Terms

After much complication and doubt if  the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu will meet the stringent bail terms issued to him.


Nnamdi kanu today, fulfilled the bail conditions granted him by the Federal High Court, Abuja. 

Nnamdi Kanu had been ordered by Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja to provide

  1. Highly respected and recognised jewish leader.
  2. Highly placed person of Igbo extraction such as a Senator.
  3. Highly respected person who is resident and owns landed property in Abuja.
  4. Above mentioned sureties to deposit N100million each

On Friday, the bail conditions were met as the 
Chairman, South East Senate caucus Former Deputy Governor of Abia State, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe

A Jewish High Priest, Immanuu-El Shalom Okabemadu 

A Chartered Accountant residing in Abuja, Tochukwu Uchendu, were all present to stand as three sureties for Nnmadi kanu.


The Rabbi was flown into Abuja from Port Harcourt.I am so skeptical about the rabbi. Well let’s keep calm and see what unfolds next

Not to forget:
Justice Binta Nyako had earlier said that Kanu’s bail will be revoked if he flounts any of the orders in his bail condition, one of which states that he is not to be in a gathering of more than 10 people.

It came as a shock as Murtala Mohammed Airport in Ikeja Lagos State went into stone age for five hours. The airport experienced power outage which forced the terminal to switch to manual for continuity.

The General Manager, Corporate Communications, FAAN, Henrietta Yakubu, said that the power failure was due to a “minor electrical fault”.

Sahara Reporters reported that sources close to the terminal reveal that some of the passengers had to pull off their shirt especially the males and use hand fans.

Phew.

Yakubu further stated that FAA  engineers were already working to rectify the “minor electrical fault”, assuring the public that normalcy would be restored soon.

Yakubu added by saying that the outage did not affect normal flight operations at the airport and flight operations continued uninterrupted.

Well, the terminal crew switched to manual.

Nigerian Police force has appointed a new public relations officer for the force – ACP Frank Mba.

Frank Mba immediately replaced Moshood Jimoh who has occupied the position since 2017 as appointed by former NPF IGP – Ibrahim Idris. Jimoh took over from Sogbeba West.

The Inspector General of Police, Ag IGP AbubakarAdamu Mohammed mni, has appointed a new Spokesman for the Nigeria Police Force. He is ACP Frank Mba. He takes over from MoshoodJimoh, an acting Deputy Commissioner of Police who is being redeployed to other national assignment. Until his appointment, Frank was working at the Special Fraud Unit (SFU), Ikoyi- Lagos. The posting is with immediate effect.
